Dr. Edward Loftspring
Dr. Edward Loftspring operated the practice for almost 40 years until his retirement in September 2017. Dr. Loftspring is beloved by his patients and has maintained lifelong relationships with many of them and their families. Upon retirement, he sent the following letter to all of his patients:
Dear Friends and Family:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in permitting me to take care of your dental health through the years. It is with mixed emotions and abundance of gratitude that I am announcing my transition to retirement to enjoy new opportunities to travel, enjoy friends and family and spend more time with my dear wife, Ina. I have been blessed in many ways, but especially in having such a long career. I will miss each one of you. Through the years you have become my extended dental family.
In an effort to ensure that the patients of this practice continue to receive the best of care, we have searched to find a dentist that can deliver just that. We have found Dr. Dani Shertok who brings with him great training and experience in the dental field. Dr. Shertok grew up in Cincinnati, graduated from Sycamore High School, did his undergraduate at the University of Michigan and graduated from the Ohio State School University College of Dentistry in 2009. He has completed a General Dental Practice Residency through the University of Florida the following year. Dr. Shertok has practiced dentistry in Florida and also in California. He and his wife, Blair have made their home again in Cincinnati with their infant son, Jesse. I am confident that we have found the right person in selecting Dr. Shertok for this difficult but necessary process in my life. Dr. Shertok is an ethical and caring individual who brings with him great training and dental skills to take care of your dental needs in the way you have been accustomed to receiving. I am extremely comfortable in transferring your care to the capable hands of Dr. Shertok, and he is very much looking forward to meeting you and continuing your care.
After almost 30 years as my business manager, Rose Conroy will also be retiring. She will be spending some time in Spain with her Spanish family and hoping to continue to enjoy the fruits of family, friends and life. She will also miss all of you and wants to take this opportunity to thank you for the privilege of knowing you and wishing all of you the very best. Rose will be staying with Dr. Shertok initially to facilitate the transition.
There will not be any changes of location or contact information. You will be contacted by our friendly staff as usual to confirm your appointments.
I deeply valued and treasured the relationships that I have developed over the years with all of you. I feel honored to have been able to assist and participate in your dental health. I thank you for your loyal support and trust as well as friendship. My very best of good wishes for a happy and healthy life to all of you.
Sincerely and Gratefully,
Edward E. Loftspring, DDS
